Landscape Architect

The LA Group, a prestigious landscape architectural design firm, is currently seeking a landscape architect. The qualified candidate will have 3 to 5 years minimum experience with a working knowledge of AutoCAD LANDesk 2007. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong designer who is self -motivated, because this a project management position.

Stormwater Engineer or Stormwater Landscape Architect

The LA Group, a landscape architectural and civil engineering firm is currently seeking a stormwater engineer/technician. The qualified candidate will be responsible for designing and modeling stormwater management systems for a variety of large-scale and small-scale projects. The candidate must be familiar with the New York State Stormwater Management Design requirements as set forth by the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation and also familiar with the requirements of SPDES General Permit. A working knowledge of TR 55 and TR 20 is required along with the Hydro-CAD Stormwater modeling system and/or similar systems is preferable. The position will require strong writing skills and a competency in communicating with clients, contractors and governmental agencies. The designer may be a Landscape Architect, Engineer or CPESC Certified with long-term experience in the area of stormwater management.
